PREVENT FRAUD/CHARGEBACKS

Charge backs are VERY RARE but they happen! It's important to make sure you are putting things in place on your website to prevent them and if they do happen you’re able to fight them and win the dispute.

Get Your Terms Ready

Shopify’s got your back with easy-to-add terms and agreement pages. Pop in your shipping details, processing times, and refund rules. Then, snag an app like "Advanced Product Options" to add a must-click checkbox for agreeing to terms before buying. Signature Tracking is Key

Always ship with signature tracking. It means someone has to sign for the package, keeping things secure.

Match Shipping and Billing

If the shipping and billing addresses don’t match, hit up your customer to make sure everything’s cool.

Big Spends Get a Check

If someone drops a lot of cash, send them an email to confirm their order. Ask for a pic of their ID and the last digits of their credit card for extra safety. Keep the email professtional and let them know this info will inly be used to confirm their order.

Stay Alert for Risky Orders

Shopify is awesome because it flags high-risk orders. If you get the heads-up, just double-check with the customer to make sure their order is legit.
