30 Day Challenge vol. 1 - IG Stories + Live !

This challenge is designed to help you engage more effectively with your audience through Instagram stories and live sessions. Use this guide in addition to the posts you already have planned for the day. Before you start, be sure to screenshot your current story and page insights. Track your growth daily by taking screenshots along the way.

GET READY FOR 30 DAYS OF FUN AND CREATIVE IDEAS! 🥳

Day 1: Go Live for at least 30 minutes (try for an hour or more)

Topics:
- New releases
- New products
- Packing wigs
- You styling wigs
- Give free gems
- Digital products you have
- Classes you offer
- Ask the audience to ask questions
- Do a guessing game and offer a free low-ticket product or discount if they guess correctly.

Day 2: Introduce Yourself and Your Business

- Share your story and why you started making wigs or selling your product..
- Post 2-4 old pictures from your past with descriptions.
- Post 2-4 pictures showing your progress over time with descriptions.
- Post 2-4 pictures of what your work looks like now with descriptions.

Day 3: Why You Started/What Does Your Brand Stand For?

- Post a picture of yourself or your logo and explain the true purpose of your business.
- Example: "I started my business because I was tired of testing different companies that didn’t have the long-lasting hair I was looking for. I searched high and low to find the best quality hair for girls just like me! My business stands on bringing LONG LASTING bundles to the girls who want high-quality hair."

Day 4: Behind the Scenes

- Show a behind-the-scenes look at your workspace and/or the process of making a wig in a few photos/videos.

Be creative and add descriptions!

Day 5: Do You Actually Use What You Sell?

- Post your best picture of youself or video wearing or using your own product, hair, or wigs!

Day 6: Clients Know Best

- Share a picture of a happy client and overlay it with their testimonial.

Day 7: Go Live for at least 30 minutes (try for an hour or more)

Day 8: Poll Sticker

- Ask your audience if they wear glueless wigs (or any product or service you offer) with a 'Yes' or 'No' poll sticker. On the next slide, use a question sticker to ask, “If no, why not?” and then answer any questions that come through.

Day 9: Options Poll

- Create a poll with 4 photos (of wigs, styles, products, bundles, etc you offer) labeled 1-4 and ask your audience their favorite and why. On the next post, reveal your favorite. Later in the day, reveal the winner.

Day 10: Create a Reel for Your Story *My personal favorite story idea*

- Use CapCut to create a 7-10 second video from 1 second clips of you working. Save the video, open in your camera roll, click edit and turn the exposure all the way down,then add it to your story, and overlay text explaining why you love your job, what you’re doing in the video, or give a motivational quote!

Day 11: Short Tutorials

- Share 3-5 videos or posts with short tutorials on how to style a wig (or product/service you offer) or take care of it.

Day 12: Wig Care Tips

- Provide tips and tricks for maintaining wigs (or product/service you offer) using text overlays and voice-overs.

Day 13: Snap It Up!

- Post a nice video or picture of yourself and tell us your name, age, location,  what you specialize in and how long you've been doing what you offer.

Day 14: Go Live for at least 30 minutes (try for an hour or more)

Day 15: New Arrivals

- Showcase new wigs/products/stlyes that have recently arrived (or new service deal). Highlight unique features (e.g., glueless, color, length, lace). If nothing new, show an old wig in stock or available for preorder and ADD THE PRODUCT LINK!

Day 16: Fun Facts → NOT WORK 👎🏽

- Share something unique about yourself as the business owner that your audience doesn’t know.

Make it unrelatable to work!

Day 17: Transformation

- Post a transformation video or pictures showing a before-and-after of wearing your wig (or product/service you offer) or customizing a wig. For example, the first picture can show the wig uncustomized or on a mannequin head, and the second video or picture can show the wig on yourself, a client, or fully customized on a mannequin head.

Day 18: Follow My Day

- Set timers for different times of the day and labet them "Post on IG Story" (9am, 12pm, 2pm, 5pm, 7pm)

At these times doesn’t matter what you're doing, smile for the camera or take a video or picture WITH IG CAMERA (no uploads) and tell us what your doing or thinking! Overlay the time on your post.

Day 19: Mini Interview -  Go live for at least 30 minutes (try for an hour) and invite someone to join your live.

Day 20: Behind the Scenes

- In a few vids/pics (2-5+) show some behind-the-scenes look at your work space, focusing on a different aspect of your process. Where do you sew wigs? Style Wigs? Have a desk? Show it off! Embrace where you are now, and tell us about what you want for the future! 

Day 21: Showcase your Support

-Share pictures or videos of customers wearing your wigs (or product/service you offer). Share as many as you have! On the last post encourage followers to tag you in their future posts.

Day 22: Business Owner Favorite Products

- Highlight your top 3 favorite wig (or product/service) products you absolutely recommend for your customers to use and explain why you love them.

Day 23: How It's Made

- Share a step-by-step process of making or styling a wig, or packing a product. Break it down into several short clips./photos.

Day 24: Wig Suggestions

- Show a wig (or product/service you offer) you or a customer have worn for a special occasion and tell your audience when they should opt for this look. Examples: vacation, birthday, date night, cookout, 4th of July, etc.

Day 25: That's a Myth! *Bonus you can use this as a reel!

- Debunk common myths about wigs (or product/service you offer) and provide factual information. Post a video proving the myth wrong and overlay what the myth is.

Ex: ‘Glue less wigs slip off easy’ Is the text over lay. In the video your are shaking your head or pulling the wig to prove it doesn’t.

 Ex: ‘Glueless wigs don’t give natural’ is text over lay. In video you showing the wig looks natural, then lift the wig or slide comb under to prove its natural.

Day 26: Fun Poll

- Create a fun poll related to wigs (or product/service you offer), like "Which color do you prefer: Blonde or Brunette?"

Day 27: Go Live for at least 30 minutes (try for an hour or more)

Day 28: Product Comparison

- Compare two different wigs, hairstyles, products you offer, explaining the differences and benefits of each.

Day 29: What Are You Doing Today?

In the morning, capture a picture or video (of your breakfast, making the bed, cup of coffee, etc.). Then, overlay it with your to-do list, post it, and save a copy to your camera roll. As the day goes on, post updates about the things on your to-do list. At the end of the day, repost the video you saved to your camera roll and cross out everything you completed. For anything you did not complete, tell us why and when/if you’ll get to it!

Day 30: Create a Reel for Your Story

- Use CapCut to create a 7-10 second video from clips of you working. Save the video, turn the exposure all the way down, add it to your story, and overlay text congratulating yourself for completing 30 days of content in your story.
